Upgrading, Downgrading and Canceling Your Plan

You can move to a bigger plan, move to a smaller one, or cancel and return to Essentials whenever you like. An upgrade takes effect straight away. A move to a cheaper paid plan takes effect at the end of your billing period. Canceling returns you to Essentials, and if you have more than one property you choose which one to keep.

Upgrade

  1. Open Subscription and select Modify Plan.
  2. Select Upgrade on the plan you want.
  3. On the confirmation page, check the comparison with your current plan. Part way through a billing period, the page shows a prorated amount: the price difference for the days that remain.
  4. Confirm. Your new allowance is available immediately.

Move to a cheaper paid plan

  1. Select Modify Plan, then Downgrade on the cheaper plan.
  2. Confirm. You keep your current plan's features until your billing period ends, and the plan changes on that date, which the confirmation message shows.

Cancel and return to Essentials

  1. On Subscription, select Cancel Subscription. This button does not appear on Essentials, because there is no smaller plan to return to.
  2. Read the confirmation. It explains that you move to Essentials, which allows one property.
  3. Select Yes, Downgrade, or Keep Current Plan to stop.
  4. If you have more than one property, you are asked which one to keep. Choose it and confirm.

The properties you do not keep are unlinked from your account. Their service history is kept and is not deleted.

Change your mind

If your subscription shows Canceled, select Reactivate Subscription on the Subscription page.

Tips

  • Decide which property you want to keep before you cancel. Unlinked properties no longer appear under My Properties.
  • Your usage bar on Subscription shows how many properties you currently use.

If something goes wrong

  • If a change fails, you see a message and your plan stays as it was. Try again, or open a support ticket from Support.
  • If the page says your session for the action has expired, start the cancellation again.
