Cookie Policy

Effective date: June 25, 2026 Last updated: June 25, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how ServiceVisit Technologies, LLC ("ServiceVisit," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites, web applications, and related services (the "Platform"). It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more generally.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as local storage, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs) in mobile apps — perform comparable functions. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this Policy. Cookies may be set by us ("first-party") or by a third party providing services to us ("third-party"), and may last only for your session ("session cookies") or persist across visits ("persistent cookies").

2. Categories of cookies

We group cookies into the categories below. The specific cookies in use can vary by surface (for example, our public marketing site versus the signed-in application).

  • Essential cookies — required for the Platform to function. They support core capabilities such as security, authentication and keeping you signed in, load balancing, and remembering your progress through a form or flow. The Platform cannot operate properly without these, so they are not optional.
  • Functional cookies — remember your choices and preferences (such as language or display settings) to provide a more convenient experience. Disabling these may reduce convenience but does not prevent core use.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how the Platform is used (for example, which pages are visited and how features perform) so we can improve it. Where used, this information is used in aggregate.
  • Marketing cookies — used to measure or support marketing, and potentially to deliver or measure advertising. ServiceVisit does not currently use cookies to serve third-party targeted advertising. If we introduce marketing or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, obtain your consent first.

We only use non-essential cookies where permitted, and — where the law requires consent — after you have given it.

3. How we use cookies

We use cookies to: keep you signed in and secure your session; remember preferences; understand and improve Platform performance and usage; and support our own communications and outreach. We describe the underlying purposes of our data processing in the Privacy Policy.

You can control cookies in several ways:

  • Browser settings — most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and warn you before cookies are stored. Refer to your browser's help pages for instructions. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Platform from working.
  • Device and app settings — your device or operating system may offer controls for app-based identifiers and tracking.
  • Consent controls — where we present a cookie banner or preference center, you can use it to accept or decline non-essential categories and to change your choices later.

5. Third-party cookies

Where we rely on third parties to provide functionality (for example, infrastructure or, in the future, analytics), those providers may set cookies subject to their own policies. Any third parties acting on our behalf to process personal information are addressed in our Subprocessor Policy.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes in the cookies we use. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Platform or by other reasonable means. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
