Subprocessor Policy
Effective date: June 25, 2026 Last updated: June 25, 2026
To provide the ServiceVisit platform (the "Services"), ServiceVisit Technologies, LLC ("ServiceVisit") engages trusted third parties to process certain data on our behalf. These third parties are called "subprocessors." This policy explains how we select them, the categories we use, how we notify customers of changes, and the current list. It supports the Data Processing Addendum and the Privacy Policy.
1. How we select subprocessors
Before engaging a subprocessor that may process personal data, we evaluate it for suitability, including its security practices, data-protection commitments, reliability, and the necessity of the processing. We enter into contractual terms that require the subprocessor to protect data with obligations no less protective than those we commit to our customers, and to process data only as needed to provide their service to us. We remain responsible for our subprocessors' performance.
2. Categories of subprocessors
We use subprocessors in the following categories:
- Cloud infrastructure and hosting — compute, networking, databases, and file storage that run the Services.
- AI model providers — services that run the AI models behind Walter, our AI assistant (see the AI Transparency Policy).
- Payment processing — services that process subscription payments.
- Communications — services that deliver transactional and operational email and SMS.
- Operations and support tooling — services that support monitoring, diagnostics, and customer support (where they process personal data).
3. Current subprocessors
The following reflects the subprocessors used to operate the Services. This list is maintained and may change as described in Section 4.
| Subprocessor | Category | Purpose | Primary location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Corporation) | Cloud infrastructure and hosting | Hosting, compute, databases, file storage, secrets management | [Region — placeholder] |
| Azure OpenAI Service (Microsoft) | AI model provider | Running operational AI models for Walter | [Region — placeholder] |
| Azure AI Foundry (Microsoft) | AI model provider | Running classification and serverless AI models for Walter | [Region — placeholder] |
| Anthropic | AI model provider | Advanced AI reasoning for certain Walter tasks (escalation) | [Region — placeholder] |
| Stripe | Payment processing | Processing subscription payments | [Region — placeholder] |
| Azure Communication Services (Microsoft) | Communications | Delivering transactional/operational email and SMS | [Region — placeholder] |
Entities, locations, and purposes above are to be confirmed and kept current. Additional operational or support subprocessors may be added in the categories listed in Section 2.
4. Notice of changes
We may add or replace subprocessors as the Services evolve. Where required by our agreements or applicable law, we will provide advance notice of new subprocessors that process personal data through a mechanism customers can subscribe to, allowing customers a reasonable opportunity to object on legitimate data-protection grounds before the change takes effect. [Specify the subscription mechanism and notice period.]
5. International transfers
Some subprocessors may process data in countries other than where a customer is located. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers, as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum.
