Customer Notes

ServiceVisit lets you keep a running list of notes on a customer, in addition to the single notes field on the customer record. You would use it to remember things the next person who deals with that customer should know, such as a preference, a billing detail or a follow-up.

Each note is written in your own words and given a type: General, Preference, Communication, Service, Billing, Follow-Up, Issue or Compliment. You can pin a note, edit its wording later, or delete it. Notes are listed under the customer, each with the date it was written, and a note that has been changed is marked as edited.

Notes belong to the customer record, so they sit alongside the customer's contact details and any files you have attached to that customer.
