View Estimate Authorization Evidence
When a customer authorizes an estimate, ServiceVisit keeps a record of that authorization. This capability lets you view that record on an approved estimate, so you can show what the customer agreed to and how it was captured if a question comes up later.
On the estimate, the Authorization Record section shows who accepted, when, and the acceptance statement the customer was shown. It can be downloaded in two forms: Download PDF gives you a PDF you can hand to someone, and Export evidence gives a data file. The page also shows whether the evidence's integrity was verified.
The record is evidence of what already happened, not a way to change it. It is shown only on estimates that have been approved, and it complements the earlier steps of sending an estimate and having the customer approve it.
