Manage Installment Plans and Reminders

This capability gives a provider the controls on an installment plan's own page. An active plan can be suspended (Suspend Plan), a suspended plan can be resumed (Resume Plan), and an active or suspended plan can be cancelled (Cancel Plan). The cancel confirmation spells out that the remaining balance stays owed on the invoice's own terms and that cancelling does not write anything off.

A plan that is still awaiting the customer's acceptance can be withdrawn (Withdraw proposal), which frees the invoice for another payment plan. On a plan with a payment schedule, each installment that is pending, overdue or failed has a Record Payment button.

The page also has a Customer email reminders section. In Reminder offsets you enter day offsets from each due date, negative for before the due date and positive for after, along with a required reason for the change. You can enter up to 20 values between -365 and 365, or leave the field blank to remove all reminders.
