Accept an Inbound Job Request

Updated .

ServiceVisit lets you review inbound requests and decide what to do with them. You can see the requests waiting for your review, check the service address, and then approve or decline each one.

Before you begin

Requests appear under Marketplace Leads in the main navigation. A request marked Awaiting Verification cannot be approved or declined until the customer verifies their contact information.

The permission to accept an inbound request is separate from creating a Job yourself. It is for taking on work that arrived from outside.

Review and accept a request

  1. Open the Requests page under Marketplace Leads.
  2. Choose Approve & Create Job to open the review.
  3. Confirm the service location and check whether the address matches a Property already on the platform.
  4. If the contact details match customers you already have, review each possible match. Choose This is them to attach the request to the confirmed customer. Nothing is attached just because it looks similar.
  5. Create the Job. The request becomes a Job and moves into your normal workflow.

Decline a request

Choose Decline, provide a reason, and optionally add a message to the customer.

What happens next

After accepting the request, assign a technician and create Work Orders for the Job.
