View Payments
Viewing payments shows what was paid toward a particular invoice (the Payment History on the invoice) and the details of an individual payment, so you can confirm that money arrived and check its status before following up with a customer.
The same capability lets you see the payment links that were created for an invoice, newest first, and the payment history that appears on a customer's record.
It answers questions about a payment you already have in view. The provider-wide payment list is a separate view. Once you have found the payment, the neighbouring actions are collecting on the invoice, recording a manual payment, and refunding.
