Approve Timesheets
Approving timesheets is how a manager or owner signs off the time technicians submit. The Timesheet Approval Queue lists timesheets and can be filtered by status (pending, approved or rejected) and by technician. Each one can be approved, with an optional comment, or rejected, and a rejection needs a reason. A manager who finds a wrong start or end time can correct the entry, with a reason, and approve it in one step. A rejection can also be reversed, which returns the timesheet to the queue.
The page also summarizes how many timesheets are pending and how often entries were corrected. A Workday report compares paid time with time on site, travel, breaks and the schedule, one day per technician.
Technicians record and submit their own time; this capability is for the people who review it. A rejected timesheet goes back to the technician, who corrects it and resubmits.
