Track Time

Time tracking lets a technician record the time they spend on jobs and work orders. The Timesheets page shows one day at a time: the work orders worked, the total time, any timer that is still running, and work orders that have no time yet. A technician can clock in and out for the day, take a break, and stop a running timer. For an appointment they can mark that they are on their way, which starts travel time, and mark that they have arrived, which starts onsite time.

Only one timer runs per technician. Starting time on a second work order asks you to confirm the switch, and the earlier timer is closed at the handoff.

At the end of the day the page shows anything left to confirm or fix, such as time that was closed automatically, and the technician can submit the day. Entering time after the fact is a separate capability.
