Reading Your Properties and a Property's Details
My Properties lists every property in your account. Each one opens to its Property Passport, which shows the property's information, systems, assets and zones. This guide explains what each page shows.
Before you start
Sign in to your customer account and claim or add at least one property. If you have none, the page shows No Properties Yet with Find or Claim Your Property.
Steps
- Open My Properties. Each property shows its name, address, type, number of Systems and Assets, and Last Service, or No service recorded. It also shows its property ID and the date you added it.
- Under Recommended next steps for this property, select Open Passport to see the details, Add Asset to record equipment, or View Service History to see recorded work. Assets at the top opens your asset inventory.
- In the passport, Property Information shows the type, the created date and the date you claimed it. It shows a source where one exists.
- Parcel Information appears only when parcel data is on record, and shows only the fields that exist.
- Property Systems lists each system with its make, model, serial number, install date and location. A DIY Installation badge means you recorded it. Professional means a provider installed it. Under Warranty shows while the warranty has not ended.
- Appliances & Assets lists each asset with its status, make, model, serial number and warranty date.
- Zones & Rooms and Property Stats show your zones, systems and assets.
- If you hold the property, Quick Actions offers Record System Installation, Add Asset, Record Maintenance, Upload Document, and a link to find providers you have worked with at this property. Edit changes the property's details.
Tips
- A property shows Claimed by You when you hold it. Other people's properties show Claimed only, with no further action.
- Share DIY Event For Certification lets you give one provider one-time access to one of your DIY events so they can certify it. Choose the event, the provider and the Expires time, then select Create One-Time Share. Revoke ends a share that is still active.
- The share form needs an uncertified DIY event and an active provider relationship at the property. Otherwise the panel says none are available.
- The stats and lists show what is recorded. A property with nothing recorded shows empty lists, not estimates.
If something goes wrong
- If you see Failed to load your properties, try again shortly. It does not mean you have lost them.
- If you see Property Not Found, the property does not exist or you do not have access to it. Select Back to Properties.
- If a claim is waiting, Pending Claims shows it above your list with View Status and Resend Email.
- If you see that you have reached your property limit, the claim was refused. See the guide on the property limit.
